Trapper Creek Job Corps celebrates 50th anniversary, new director

DARBY – Trapper Creek Job Corps, south of Darby, has a new director and on Tuesday they celebrated the 50th anniversary of Job Corps.

The new center director, Chris Feutrier, said they are raising future tax-payers and solid contributors to society.

“I think Trapper Creek helps young people learn about the dignity of work – that a good job is worth doing,” said Feutrier. “Not because anyone is looking over your shoulder or that it equals something outside yourself but that work in and of itself is worth doing and doing well. With that comes self-pride and self-respect
