October 6-8, 2020
The NJCA Fall Virtual Convening: “Meeting Emerging Needs in Challenging Times” will take place on Tuesday, October 6 through Thursday, October 8 in two session time blocks, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m EDT and 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. EDT each day. This members only event has been designed to bring together Job Corps center staff, operators, administration and agency officials, industry partners and program stakeholders to discuss lessons learned and best practices from the COVID-19 pandemic and transition to virtual learning.
On October 6, we are pleased to announce that our opening session keynote address will be given by Ms. Debra Carr, Acting Administrator of the Office of Job Corps. Additionally, on October 8, our keynote address will be given by Mr. David Johns, Executive Director of the National Black Justice Coalition on “How to Help Opportunity Youth in a Changing World”.
