Likely no one in her student audience knew Hiramer Jean Henderson Jacobs as she talked about her Job Corps experience from long ago. She was another older adult telling them hard work pays off.
But all of them, on the afternoon of their graduation from the North Texas Job Corps Center, at least understood her message, even if they’re yet to believe it.
