2022 NJCA Leadership Conference

The NJCA Leadership Conference gathers Job Corps providers, staff, stakeholders, and leaders to discuss current issues and Job Corp 2.0.

The National Job Corps Association is pleased to continue the dialogue and engagement from the last September’s 2021 NJCA Leadership Leadership Summit by cordially inviting all NJCA members to register for the 2022 NJCA Leadership Conference on Tuesday, March 22, through Wednesday, March 23. Our event will take place at the Arlington Renaissance Capital View Hotel, in Arlington, Virginia.

This event has been designed to bring together Job Corps center leadership, youth service providers, administration and agency officials, industry partners and program stakeholders to discuss the emerging and present needs of the Job Corps program. Two full days of sessions are planned beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST. Continental breakfasts, breaks, and lunch will be provided.

Attendees will have a chance to hear from and interact with U.S. Department of Labor and the Employment and Training Administration leadership and representatives. We are pleased to announce that Rachel Torres, Administrator, Office of Job Corps has been confirmed to speak.

We will update you as sessions are confirmed. Key sessions will focus on employer partnerships, Job Corps 2.0, innovation, marketing and recruitment and further discuss the work from last September’s Town Hall.

Space is limited as the NJCA will follow the directives of state and local jurisdictions and CDC guidelines which may include wearing face coverings and social distancing.

The 2022 NJCA Leadership Conference will also be streamed for any members unable to attend in person.

  • NJCA member virtual rate – $99.00

**Please note that in order to comply with federal COVID policies, all in-person attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear face coverings for the duration of the event. These policies require unvaccinated individuals to physically distance at least 6 feet from others, even with a negative test. As such, all unvaccinated individuals are asked to instead attend the conference virtually.

The NJCA has a limited room block reserved at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel for $258 per night. The last day to book your hotel room is February 28, 2022.

The Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel is conveniently located approximately one mile south of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and provides a complimentary scheduled airport shuttle (Mon-Sun: 05:00 AM – 11:30 PM, shuttle phone: 703 413-1300).

Other area airports include Washington Dulles (IAD) and Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).
